Q1-2017 Swiss-Asia Communication

17th April 2017

Q1-2017 started off strongly with 2 new Fund launches in Singapore, 1 Managed Account in Hong Kong and 2 new Wealth Managers joining our Singapore Wealth Management platform.

The hedge funds on the Swiss-Asia Platform generally had an excellent start to 2017. Our Global Macro hedge funds kicked off the first quarter with a bang ! Prulev being up 21.90% and Salmon at 7.4%. Macro Hedge Funds seem to be having the most interest with investors due to the volatility of President Donald Trump’s economic policies may bring about. The new funds such as Ddraig and AVM have also had a very consistent start to the year. Ddraig having posted 5 months of track record with purely positive performance mainly attributed to its “Long Portfolio”. AVM also having 5 months of track record with 4 positive months is doing well having gone long the Ruble with a combined short oil position. Nice moves !

The below is a snapshot of our top 5 performers YTD.

We are happy to announce that we will be holding our third Capital Introduction event at the Tower Club in Singapore on the 25th of April 2017. The Managers will all be present to meet the Singapore Investor community that ranges from private individuals to sovereign wealth funds.
